Temo river excursion
The Temo is the only navigable river in Sardinia that can be traveled for about 5 km. It is a unique excursion as the visitor will be able to enjoy an unusual view of the ancient village of Bosa and the hilly and river landscapes that surround it. An uncontaminated environment between architecture, history and nature.
ITINERARY: We embark at the floating seat of the Bosa Diving Center, in the hamlet of Bosa Marina. After navigating near the mouth, you reach the stretch of river that runs alongside the ancient tanneries with a view of the village and the castle. You cross the old bridge of Bosa, made entirely of red stone. Navigate for about 1 km along the prosperous orchards to reach after a few minutes the site of the ancient Roman city on whose remains stands the Romanesque-style cathedral of St. Peter. The excursion is recommended in the afternoon and ends at the floating site of the Bosa Diving Center or on request at the Bosa bridge.
